In the 56th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM and ISO/TC46/SC4/WG9 &49th FRBR/LRMoo SIG, the SIG resolved to start a new issue where to discuss the scope notes of typed properties.
Motivation for the issue:
Typed properties are as a rule poorly defined. They must be redrafted considering the guideline for writing scope notes (see here). The problem is particularly pressing for properties
- P62.1 mode of depiction,
- P67.1 has type,
- P138.1 mode of representation, and
- P189.1 has type.
Nb. that doesn’t mean that the other typed properties are properly defined.

In the 57th CIDOC CRM & 50th FRBR/LRMoo SIG Meeting, the SIG appointed MD to properly define the .1 properties. The following properties take precedence over the others P62.1, P67.1, P138.1, and P189.1.

Most of them are vaguely defined and the definitions are partly a part of the scope note of the main properties.
