A good cross section of contemporary CH data management agrees that the way forward for long term sustainability and understandability of data is its representation in self describing semantic data formats. But which one?! Despite there being many years flowed under the bridge since such agreements were made, there is no one standard semantic framework from which to translate in and out of, CIDOC CRM included. There are motivated reasons be they scientific, institutional or other that ground adopting different semantic structures for this work. How then do we organize that CH data can serve many semantic masters? If data must potentially be stored or reused in Linked.Art, EDM, HDTO and other formats, how do we support the end user in seamlessly generating reusing and or transferring data across these different data spaces?
