Building on our first presentation to the SIG in June 2023, this presentation highlights the establishment of the Spanish Translation Working Group and the progress achieved in translating the model.
This presentation details the progress made in the establishment of the Spanish Translation Working Group and the technical advancements achieved to date. The session is structured into four key areas:
1. Group Formation and Objectives: We will comment on the challenges and strategies involved in assembling a multidisciplinary team.
2. Methodological Framework: We will describe our collaboration with the French translation team, focusing on the methodological transfer that served as a reference for developing our own internal work procedures.
3. Technical Progress and Infrastructure: We will present challenges and our first results, including the translation of the model's introduction and the implementation of a dedicated GitLab environment—modeled after the French infrastructure—, as well as the ongoing translation of entities and properties.
4. Final Reflections: We conclude with a summary of lessons learned and the next steps for ensuring the long-term sustainability and interoperability of the Spanish version.
