In the 57th CIDOC CRM & 50th FRBR/LRMoo SIG Meeting, the SIG resolved to start an issue where to determine if any unidirectional implication expressed in some property’s FOL can be called a “shortcut”, irrespective of its complexity, or if the term can only be applied to straightforward paths. To be discussed in a new issue and to be brought at the next SIG meeting for discussion.
HW: CEO, WS, MD
The present issue stems from 643, and specifically the complex inferences about defining an instance of E53 Place using multiple reference spaces (provided that they are nested) --see the relevant HW by CEO and ensuing discussion.
Marseille, October 2023
In the 61st joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM and ISO/TC46/SC4/WG9 & 54th FRBR/LRMoo SIG, the group reviewed issue 655 to determine whether anything can be done about it.
CEO had done some HW in the past, but it has never been reviewed by the SIG. But he thinks it's a non-issue and can freely close.
WS has volunteered to read through CEO's old HW and propose a course of action (either do something or close essentially)
