Background: 

In the 56th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM and SO/TC46/SC4/WG9 &49th FRBR/LRMoo SIG, upon discussing issue 613 the SIG resolved to start a new issue concerning updating the templates for CRM base & family models, in order to accommodate information relevant to shortcuts & fully articulated paths. 

Before editing the templates and the documents, the SIG editors must make sure that performing such a large-scale update on the specification documents will help readers rather than encumber them (break the texts’ unity etc.)

HW: TV & ETz to collaborate on using the new template to derive the rdf versions of the models.

Outcome: 

In the 57th CIDOC CRM & 50th FRBR/LRMoo SIG Meeting, TV presented the new template for CRM base and family models (one that offers structured fields for shortcuts as well). The details of the proposal & the points raised in the discussion can be found here. 

Decision: the SIG adopted the proposed revision to the template. 

HW: ETs to update the CIDOC CRM v7.2.4 implementing the newly adopted template. This work should extend to CRMextensions.
