Starting Date:

Working Group:

Status:
Done
Background:

In the 40th meeting  during the discussion that followed Marlet's presentation, the sig asked Olivier  to choose  some examples from his presentation and to  test the inference chain by using the CRMinf.

Cologne, January 2018

Current Proposal:

Posted by Olivier Marlet on 15/5/2018

Here is my contribution proposal concerning the use of CRMinf in the case of Rigny's publication (soon online)

In the 44th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and ISO/TC46/SC4/WG9; 37th FRBR - CIDOC CRM Harmonization meeting, the sig assigned GB & SS to review the example of the Three Churches of Rigny and make sure it’s valid. In principle, the example should be included in the introduction of the CRMinf document.

Paris, June 2019

In the 45th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and SO/TC46/SC4/WG9; 38th FRBR – CIDOC CRM Harmonization meetingthe sig reviewed the examples for properties J11 used manifestation (was manifestation used by) and J12 (HW by SS), made changes to them and accepted J11 used manifestation (was manifestation used by).  The full path for which J12 used item (was item used by) is a shortcut needs be reworked. (HW SS)

Heraklion, October 2019

In the 50th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and SO/TC46/SC4/WG9; 43nd FRBR – CIDOC CRM Harmonization meeting, the SIG reviewed HW by SdS: the fully articulated path for the shortcut property J12 used (was used by).

The full path goes like that:
I7 Belief Adoption. J11 used manifestation: F3 Manifestation. R7i is materialized in: F5 Item.

DECISION: long path accepted, SdS to update the definition accordingly
HW: SdS

June 2021

Outcome:

Following the complete reorganization of the modelling constructs around Belief & Belief Adoption, which resulted in deprecating I8 Conviction and its properties (see issue 510), means that updating the property J12 used (D: I8 Conviction, R: F5 Item) is no longer relevant for CRMinf.
