Issue 450: Update the scope note of E54
In the 45th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and SO/TC46/SC4/WG9; 38th FRBR – CIDOC CRM Harmonization meeting, and in accordance with the decision reached on Issue 349 Belief Values, a new issue has been formed to update the scope note of E54 Dimension.
Changes must include removing of the phrase: An instance of E54 Dimension represents the true quantity, independent from its numerical approximation, e.g. in inches or in cm. A clause stating that error margins on dimensions may sometimes not be relevant can be added to the definition.

Attached along overdue homework, changing the definition of E54 Dimension from the "true quantity" to the empirical one. I have also modified it to allow for dimensions being results of theoretical calculations and data evaluations. I used the term "following the laws of physics" to exclude models such as discrete time.
In the 47th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and ISO/TC46/SC4/WG9; 40th FRBR - CIDOC CRM Harmonization meeting; the sig reviewed and accepted the proposed, by MD,changes of the scope note of E54 Dimension. The final version can be found here. Also it is decided to open a new issue to rework on the examples of E54.
