Issue 514: Revision of the examples for E54 Dimension
In the 47th joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and ISO/TC46/SC4/WG9; 40th FRBR - CIDOC CRM Harmonization meeting; following the changes in the scope note of E54(issue 450) that units and values are included in the examples, the sig decided to open a new issue to rework on the example of Christie’s hammer price for Van Gogh’s Sunflowers in a vase since it the only one that refers to the temporal extent of the measurement. This is assigned to SS.

Reworking of “Vase with 15 sunflowers” example
ORIGINAL
Christie’s hammer price for “Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers” in British Pounds (E97)
REVISED
Christie’s hammer price for “Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers” (E97) [£24.75m]
While looking at this I noticed that the Battle of Issus (Issus) example is wrong
ORIGINAL
The duration of the time span of the Battle of Issos [333 B.C.E.]
REVISED
The duration of the time span of the Battle of Issos on 15th November 333 B.C.E. [1 day]
NB This is very approximate: I could find no tighter estimates.

"The Hellenic cavalry pursued the fleeing Persians for as long as there was light.", something like 6pm in November. We have in Crete currently residual light from 6am until 7:30pm summer time.
The armies were settling up in the morning, so I'd rather say "less than 12 hours"
Dimensions do have estimation limits...
